A chance to push the boundaries with brand new experimental concepts and ideas.

Coles unveiled its flagship store at the iconic Chadstone Shopping Centre with TRG playing a key role in this transformational project. The store boasts a completely redesigned layout including fresh look and feel, and test out some new sustainability and innovation concepts.

Although there were challenges along the way, including silica dust contamination from construction work happening elsewhere in the centre that ended up catching the attention of the media, we worked closely alongside Coles to finalise store layout and construction documentation that ensured a seamless transition into the construction phase following the completed decontamination works.

This project represents more than a renovation, as a transformational project that was born through the collaboration between the Coles innovation team putting new ideas to the test, and will shape the future of Coels stores in informing which ideas will be integrated into their standards.
