Project Background
A new benchmark for contemporary retailing.
Working together with the Myer team and Woods Bagot, we shaped and developed the initial concept through to reality across brand, space, and place. We were able to facilitate a curated multisensory experience that is both visual and tactile, with a design that balances the retail demands of one of Australia’s leading department stores with the casual lifestyle of Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The design is focussed on elevating the customer experience and supporting Myer’s strategies for offering a customer-first approach and setting a new benchmark for contemporary retailing in the process. Raised ceiling heights and dramatic visual merchandising create a theatrical experience – encouraging customers to explore and wander.
