Project Background
The first stage in a larger town planning scheme that will see the development of retail offerings adjacent to a new train station, full-line supermarket, specialty retail, and medical services centre.
The precinct consists of a 12,000m² supermarket and liquor store, 3 mini-majors, 27 specialty retail tenancies, and 600m² of first floor office space, as well as external parking for 475 cars. The building design also targeted a minimum 4-star rating in sustainability, including various initiatives for energy efficient building design, sustainable material use, performance glazing, rainwater harvesting etc. the construction of the building utilised recycled materials, reduction in waste generation, recycled concrete, and a reduction in mass of steelwork.
TRG’s engagement on the project is in support of the developers and in partnership with Woolworths, working collaboratively to provide documentation, project management and contract administration for the whole centre, as well as the internal documentation for the supermarket.
